Terms

Adults

The house is for people 18 or older. The Vestibule asks for a birth year and an explicit confirmation. If you are not an adult, you may not enter, and you may not be matched.

Consent

You are matched only if you consent, and only with members who have consented. You may type handles you control. Those handles are stored as text. A page that exists somewhere else is not permission to bring you, or anyone else, into this house.

No scraping

The house does not scrape. It does not sign in to any other service for you. It does not fetch a profile from a handle.

Zero tolerance for abuse

There is zero tolerance for abuse. That includes harassment, threats, hateful attacks, sexual content involving anyone under 18, and attempts to deceive another member. A membership used that way can be closed.

Report and block

You can report a member, and you can block a member. A report keeps a reason. A block keeps that person out of your circle.

The table

An introduction stays closed until the other member accepts. You cannot force the table open.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in the house. Deletion removes your name, year, city, sentence, keys, unlocks, reports, blocks, and introductions.

Preview ledger

The ledger is a preview of unlocks. It is not a charge. Names in The circle stay sealed until the matching unlock. The name of the first chair is not shown there. A sample circle, when one is shown, is fictional and is not a set of real members.
